Guclud Tunisian Crochet Metal Hook Set

Disclosure: I bought these cables with my own money to try them out and to provide a review for you, but if you buy these hooks using my Amazon affiliate link below, you will be helping me financially so that I can continue to buy and review more products for my site and YouTube channel – so I thank you so much in advance for your support!

I recently ordered, received, and reviewed a set of metal Tunisian crochet hooks after seeing Toni Lipsey’s review of a similar set (Silian Hook Set). I really liked those hooks and had been using them for my Tunisian crochet projects ever since getting them. I liked the way they looked and felt in my hands. But as we know, here in the United States, ordering anything from China has become more expensive and confusing than ever before with the introduction of new tariffs and the elimination of tariff exceptions for items under $800. That means I don’t really recommend anyone try to order that set from AliExpress anymore. I went searching for something similar on Amazon and I’m happy to say I found something I like even more than that original set I bought.

All of the things I liked about the previous set are true here; you get the 12 sizes of hooks presented on a sturdy board with each hook attached with an elastic band. You get 4 sizes of cables along with end stoppers, keys for tightening the attachments, and a rubber grippy to help you better attach the cables. It all comes in a nice bag for storage, and it looks good enough to gift to someone who is maybe starting their Tunisian crochet journey or hasn’t yet splurged on a nice metal set.

I’ve been using these hooks for my most recent Tunisian crochet projects, and I am happy to continue using them for my future projects.
